This summer has had some serious heatwaves, getting super hot, hard to breathe.
If you are by the sea, then you are in luck. If not, you try to fight it the best possible way :)
One of those ways is wearing light clothing, whether in material or color.

How lucky am I that I found these in the backyard of my building. They fit perfectly to the background and this outfit, which is super simple. Just a dress and flat shoes. That's it.

We had a long Easter weekend and amazing warm weather so we can make most out of it. One of those days was meant to be spent in the city center, where all the fun activities were.

I was so lucky this month, that I managed to grab the mysterious dm box by dm.cz. It is so hard to get one, since we don't know when is released. Not even a day, not even a time.

 
We can almost say "Goodbye" to the cold days and the winter. But almost, considering that it was snowing just 10 days ago. That is just March acting up.
March is probably the month when whatever you choose to put on - you will be mistaken. Mornings are still cold, mid-day extremely warm and evenings just a mix of the whole day.
So believe me when I tell you that this coat/jacket was necessary.


It may seem like I have to many pieces of clothing on me, but I can justify for all of them. The coat you see on me, it is actually denim. So it's light and doesn't keep me warm. Perfect for those chilly mornings and unpredictable evenings.
When taken off, staying with the denim shirt is just enough.
Also, soon this ankle boots will be replaced by sneakers for sure.
This outfit on me is a look for everyday, safe choice for going out on a coffee, walking in the park or running errands through out the day.

Now-days everyone is waiting for winter to be over. I always kind of expect of March to be spring-like, but it never really is. Then it is. Then it isn't again. Thankfully when those sunny warm days come, I use them to the max. Long walks, coffee out on the open, and maybe even wearing sneakers and short sleeves.
But this was not one of those days :)
That is why, wearing a sweater is always the safest option for me. Wind comes out of nowhere and I have to be prepared. By prepared I mean warm and cozy.

Yes, it's the same one from the previous post, but in different color. It is not the first time for me to buy something in two different colors, just because I love the thing so much.
Do you buy the same thing in multiple colors just 'cause you want to have it all? Please let me know I am not the only one.
For me it's the first time to wear a blazer on top of sweater. I usually keep blazers for more formal and classy looks and outfits, but I kind of like it this way as well.

Hi everyone! It seems like forever ago I wrote my last blog post. It was literally last year :)
But here I am again, trying to be more consistent and share with you some interesting content through out the whole year.
It is still winter, according to the calendar, even though we had some spring-like sunny and warm days. Not ready to get rid of the sweaters and coats yet.


If there's one thing you are going to notice when in Czech Republic - it's bear ankles, even during the winter. People are wearing just sneakers and jeans, leaving that part in between all naked :D
So I decided to try it as well.
This small houndstooth pattern will forever be one of my faves. It can be a bit hard on the eyes when photographed though. :)
The sweater in this outfit is the most worn piece of clothing that I wore this season. Soft, comfortable, warm and so cute. So cute, that I have it in another color as well.

It is literally the last day of August and we all know that September already counts as autumn. I don't mind the arrival of autumn. We kinda had a heat wave here in Brno, it was so hot, outside, as well as inside. Little cooling off would be quite welcoming.
Taking long walks in the evenings is what I mostly did this summer. This is one of those walks, on Špilberk Castle, which is a Gothic-Romanesque Castle on a hilltop here in Brno. It actually has a very interesting history, which I will write all about in another post.

Have I told you how much I love my friends? Talking to them makes my day so much better, it's bringing me so much happiness and positivity. But seeing them in person, and for them to come to Brno, was like a ray of sunshine for me. I still can't believe it. That weekend is one of my happiest memories.

Let me take you on a journey to the best Cukrárna - Pastry shop in town. I have discovered this pastry shop right since the moment we moved in here, but it took me a long time before I actually went there to check it out. And now that I've discovered it, I go there on regular basis.
I never ate so much sweet, until I was 8 months pregnant. From that moment, I got addicted to donuts and hot chocolate. After I gave birth, I have been trying to slow down with the sweet stuff, but this pastry shop is my guilty pleasure.

Well, you can not tell from the title of this post, but this is actually one of the busiest streets in Brno. The station Česka is of the stations where a lot of šalinas (Trams in Brno are called šalina) meet. These photos are taken within 1 minute, with a phone, hence their quality.

This beautiful street leads up to Komenského náměstí - a square, which is named after Jan Amos Komensky, who is dedicated to the evangelical church (the so-called "red church"), located in the middle of the square.

Yeeey! I have another mysterious "dm box" from "dm-drogerie" for this month and I am very very happy. I am going to share everything that was in it, with a short description about the products.

Let's talk beautiful smile and whiter teeth. Of course we can not completely change how they look, but we can for sure help them look a little bit better.
