BRICK ORANGE.

It is literally the last day of August and we all know that September already counts as autumn. I don't mind the arrival of autumn. We kinda had a heat wave here in Brno, it was so hot, outside, as well as inside. Little cooling off would be quite welcoming.
Taking long walks in the evenings is what I mostly did this summer. This is one of those walks, on Špilberk Castle, which is a Gothic-Romanesque Castle on a hilltop here in Brno. It actually has a very interesting history, which I will write all about in another post.

Lednice | Weekend Getaway

Piece of Home.

PIECE OF HOME.

Have I told you how much I love my friends? Talking to them makes my day so much better, it's bringing me so much happiness and positivity. But seeing them in person, and for them to come to Brno, was like a ray of sunshine for me. I still can't believe it. That weekend is one of my happiest memories.

Cukrové nebe | The best Cukrárna in Town | BRNO

Let me take you on a journey to the best Cukrárna - Pastry shop in town. I have discovered this pastry shop right since the moment we moved in here, but it took me a long time before I actually went there to check it out. And now that I've discovered it, I go there on regular basis.
I never ate so much sweet, until I was 8 months pregnant. From that moment, I got addicted to donuts and hot chocolate. After I gave birth, I have been trying to slow down with the sweet stuff, but this pastry shop is my guilty pleasure.

Busy Street.

BUSY STREET.

Well, you can not tell from the title of this post, but this is actually one of the busiest streets in Brno. The station Česka is of the stations where a lot of šalinas (Trams in Brno are called šalina) meet. These photos are taken within 1 minute, with a phone, hence their quality.

"Česká Street is a very lively and busy street in Brno. The street was named Česká (Czech) because it was the centre for Czech cultural life in Brno in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, the street is dominated by shops of various international brands." - Go to Brno

This beautiful street leads up to Komenského náměstí - a square, which is named after Jan Amos Komensky, who is dedicated to the evangelical church (the so-called "red church"), located in the middle of the square.

"The street leads from náměstí Svobody (Freedom Square) to a small square with a clock on the corner of one of the buildings. Many locals use this clock as their meeting point when getting together. Česká is one of the few streets in the city centre which has yet to be repaired." - Go to Brno

Bubbly.

BUBBLY.

We create our own happiness. We choose it every day. But when my friends came to visit 2 weeks ago, my happiness was over the roof. Early mornings, cooking breakfast, endless walks.

A lot of exploring and a little bit of sunbathing. Beer tasting and finding the best sweets in town. Which we did and you'll read all about the in one of my next posts :)

Taking these pictures was one of those moments when we couldn't stop laughing, enjoying and having the time of our lives.
Feeling childish with blowing bubbles, had us laughing through out the day.

I tried Carbon Coco | REVIEW

Let's talk beautiful smile and whiter teeth. Of course we can not completely change how they look, but we can for sure help them look a little bit better.

I was so happy when my Carbon Coco kit arrived in my mail for me to try it. I waited for the first Monday to begin, so I can track my progress.

One of my favorite types of YouTube videos has always been the "Unboxing" videos for sure. I still never miss a "Boxycharm" or "Ipsy Bag" unboxing videos on my favorite channels. So you can imagine how happy I was when I received e-mail from "dm-drogerie" that I will have the chance to purchase mysterious "dm-box" for a price of 150 czk (aprox.6 euros).

Backpack Girl.

BACKPACK GIRL.

I have never ever thought that I would choose backpack over a handbag, never. But it happened. It is the most practical thing for me at the moment and it's so much easier pushing the stroller around with a backpack on my back. And it definitely fits more things.

Which reminds me, it's been a long time since I've done "What's in my bag" blog post, so I might do one with "What's in my backpack". Would you be interested in it? Let me know ☺

TOP KNOT.

I am writing this post with one hand, because my little baby decided that my other hand is quite tasty and more interesting than her toys. Since I've had her, I started doing most of the things with only one hand, starting from coffee, lunch etc. But that's a totally different subject of motherhood, which I don't think you'll be interested in. Or maybe you will be, let me know, I got a lot to share :)

Weekend Leisure.

WEEKEND LEISURE.

I can finally say that spring has arrived around here. This weekend was the first sunny one, so I had the chance to go out, together with my husband and the baby on a first walk around the town. And I have to say - I love it. I don't like crowded places, but that only goes for closed places, shopping centers and so on.

When it comes to the squares, cafes, hidden spots in the town - lot of people bring out the positivity and laughter. Together with the sun. The sun does that automatically.

This Dress Has Got Shorter.

THIS DRESS HAS GOT SHORTER.

Just like my previous post - Redness in the Hallway, the pictures in this one are also taken in the hallway of my building. Because of that - I didn't put on the coat for the photos.

These are actually one of the last moments before giving birth. So in these pictures I am 9 months pregnant.

The title of this post, says it all - this dress has got shorter :D Maybe not literally, but when I put it on and the belly popped out - this dress that was once up to my knees, went a bit higher.

THE OUTFIT.

To be honest, this is not a "combination". It is just a dress. Dress and boots, but...

I have always been a fan of the color blue, always. Even though, officially, red is my favorite color, if I have to choose between the same piece of outfit in either red or blue, I would choose the blue one.
Same thing with this dress, which is again from Prendi. On the first look, it is so simple, but the ruffle on the side makes it all. The material is very beautiful and warm, perfect for colder weather.

The boots are from Avanti, last season, but I will say times and times again - they are so comfortable to walk in and are great choice for autumn/winter weather.

p.s. With a baby in my arms, I didn't have time to edit the photos, I'll try more next time.

Redness in the Hallway.

REDNESS IN THE HALLWAY.

My plan with this post was to go outside and take beautiful pictures, surrounded by the amazing buildings and architecture here in Brno. But! It is so cold!
On my way down the stairs, I just looked around and thought - Wait a minute, the hallway in my building is so picturesque, let's take some test photos here.
And they turned up amazing, and we didn't go out at all - one of the reasons I don't have my coat on :D

p.s. If I look a little bit bigger, well, being 9 months pregnant can do that to you :D

THE OUTFIT.

It is often said that if you want to stand out in the crowd - wear something red. I did it this time so I can brighten up the cloudy weather outside and my mood at the same time. This red sweater with cut-outs on the shoulder is amazing and slightly different from a typical winter sweater.
Girls from Macedonia - you can find it in Prendi (I have it in green as well).
This pleated skirt is from AliExpress (click for the link). And it served me so well. It is so comfortable, adjustable and versatile. In summer I wear it with crop top.
The boots go almost over the knee. What I love about them is the heel itself, which makes them super comfortable and easy to walk in. They are from Avanti ;)

Flatlays and Instagramming.

Instagram is my favorite application and favorite way to share photos and moments. It is really fun. During different periods, I have had all kinds of themes and patterns going on - from fade to colorful photos, from coffee to sky themes.
I spend most of my time on Instagram and I admire all of the profiles there. I follow so many inspiring people and I can say there are many people whose profiles are true art.
