Portugal: Day 3: Sintra
This is the third and last post about my trip to Portugal. You can see the previous two here and here.
We chose to visit Sintra - a town in the Lisbon Coast, 28 km from Lisbon. It is World Heritage Site, declared by UNESCO.
I suggest going there in the morning, so you'll have enough time for sightseeing and visiting the palaces and the castles. Between the Pena Palace (Palácio da Pena) and the Moorish Castle (Castelo dos Mouros), we chose the second one, since we didn't have time for both of them.
